Are you ready for BIM?
For our February event, we are joining forces with the newly established Hereford Business Solutions Centre which is jointly funded by the Marches LEP and University of Wolverhampton.
The Government target of BIM implementation by April 2016 for the construction industry is moving ever closer. Organisations in the construction industry unable to deliver BIM services will be at a major disadvantage compared to competitors.
This introductory three hour workshop, organised by the Hereford Business Solutions Centre, will help you understand the benefits and myths of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and provide information on training available.
The workshop will cover:
- The benefits of BIM adoption
- Key topics surrounding BIM
- BIM technology
- How to start using BIM on projects
Who should attend?
As BIM affects everyone involved in the construction industry, any companies involved in Design, Planning, Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Facilities Management, Quantity Surveying or Manufacturing would benefit from attending.
Breakfast will be available. There is no cost to attend but pre-registration is required.
