Buildings and Fire – Industry Reform

With the need for industry reform, we approach the brink of transformation for fire safety and the building design process. Whilst 2020 has been an unprecedented year globally, the progress and development of this reform has continued to make considerable progress towards the new regulatory and building design system as well as also impacting upon existing building stock. Dan’s presentation will explain a number of the new standards and systems being developed within the industry and their potential to divide the construction industry.

Dan is an Associate Director, Chartered Architectural Technologist and BIM Information Manager at One Creative Environments as well as a member of the CIAT Fire Taskforce. With a passion for new construction technology, technical design and building regulations, Dan has experience and knowledge across a number of sectors awarding him several design and construction prizes throughout his career.
