What is the true cost of poor quality £2B – £6B per annum?

Walk away with an action plan that will help you improve the Quality performance of your own business, the region and UK Plc.

Join us for the first event of 2018 where we will take an interactive look at the state of Quality in our industry. Poor Quality is something that impacts on us all and this is your opportunity to voice your opinions and work collectively on solutions.

We will start by reviewing the findings from the Edinburgh schools report, most recently supplemented by the initial quality related outcomes post Grenfell. This will all be against the backdrop of the Government targeting a one third cut in construction costs.

Having set the scene, the audience will then be invited to brainstorm their view of the causes of poor quality in the Industry.

We will then demonstrate and use Problem Solving Techniques and use your thoughts to create an improvement plan for the Industry as a whole.

The workshop will be facilitated by Dr Richard O’Connor, Director of Transform Business Improvement. Richard has extensive experience in both construction and manufacturing problem solving activities, combined with a personal drive to improve construction quality as part of the overall Lean approach.

At the end of the evening we will come away with a detailed plan for improvement that we can share with the rest of Industry and you can apply to your own businesses.
