November event: “Mistakes, I’ve made a few….”

It’s not just “old blue eyes” that makes them, listen and learn as the great and the good from the local construction industry share their mistakes in HAWCE’s version of “It’ll be alright on the night”.

We’ll start by understanding the theory behind Knowledge Management and how one of the country’s major contractors captures and shares their knowledge worldwide.

Then it’s Confession Time – where various members of the HAWCE committee will bare their souls and reveal the mistakes they have made.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from the mistakes of others so you don’t make the same mistakes, reinvent a square wheel etc.

From lessons in stone sill protection that didn’t work, a BIM model that didn’t fit once on site, a “grassy bit” that was actually a SSSI, to legal cock ups from the building law reports and a whole lot more in between.

This promises to be the most enlightening event of the year and an opportunity not to be missed!
