Web-res-Cathedral-viewFor this event we were invited by the Bursar of King’s School, Worcester, to tour the recently completed £9 million Keyes Building and enjoy a presentation by Associated Architects.

We assembled in the building foyer and received an introductory presentation from the Bursar who gave a client’s perspective of the project and the challenges and opportunities that Associated Architects faced, with the opportunity to enjoy a vista presenting the magnificent cathedral and its tower.

Matthew Goer, Director of Associated Architects provided the audience with an informative and confident presentation, which included archaeology around the site and how these considerations were developed into the design, client requirements and the demands of meeting national sports criteria on the restricted site.

A very edifying presentation which was well received by all. A Q&A session followed and a good debate ensued. All attendees were invited to tour the building and its new facilities.
