Joining NMITE from across the pond, Steve Bertasso brings a remarkable depth of industry experience to the classroom. With 25 years of dedicated experience in the building industry, he has passionately focused on process improvement, strategy implementation, research, development, and training. His diverse work history spans project management, purchasing, quantity surveying, and managerial roles in all facets of the built environment.

Steve’s remarkable journey has opened doors for him as a sought-after speaker at industry conferences dedicated to green building, LEAN process implementation, and innovative marketing strategies.

Steve’s presentation will cover the basics of AI and its applications in the construction arena, including a live demonstration of AI tools to help you start your journey of discovery.

 

Fiona Moore
Cirrus Consultant Services Ltd and Vice Chair of nima.

Fiona is an information management consultant with many years hard won experience of the UK’s built and managed environment and the industries that serve it.

Fiona will share her thoughts and experience of the use AI to date, covering time saving, access, expertise, just some of the pitfalls, the hype, problems with terminology, data sets, data quality/provenance, and how to learn more about AI.

After the presentations there will be a Q & A session led by Sophie Leake, Vice Chair of HAWCE and Senior Project Manager at Gleeds.
